My handsome baby

T.R., as usual, spent five weeks of his summer at Cal Shakes day camp, where his group performed Macbeth. He won the role of Macduff, which thrilled him to the core because he was up close, personal, and victorious in the bloody climax. (He also got my favorite line in the play-- "All my pretty chickens and their dam!")

Of course, as is proper, I think he is a genius. Photos were posted online for parents to download and I now present to you T.R.:

N.B. If you normally see my blog via Facebook or my own website or some other way, you may not actually see the photo. Go take a look at livejournal until my lovely husband figures out how to make pictures transfer properly.

He looks so heroic and dark! Lead on, Macduff!

Thanks! He had so much fun! Syd said he was a crazy yelling Scot to rival William Wallace... ;)

Thanks! Beats the heck out of the usual school picture smirk I get, so I printed one for my usual T.R. frame and one for the grandparents.

I came across your journal from a comment you made in a community. Just browsing through casually, but I wanted to say how fantastic this whole post is. Your son is so handsome! (And lucky to have a mom like you!) :)

Thanks! This is actually my OTHER son, whose body is consistent with his self-concept, but his brother looks quite a bit like him. :)
