Skansen Part Two - Three Houses

Skansen is full of houses. That's part of the point of the place, to show how different people in different regions of Sweden have lived in the past. Here are three at the small end of the spectrum. Swedenborg, like many Swedes, had a summerhouse. His, however, now lives in the rose garden at Skansen.

At some point in Sweden's history, people were offered little houses where they could garden for the good of the nation. There was a term I've forgotten for the houses and the details of the arrangement also escape me, but look how cute it is!

As if the first two pictures weren't play-house-like enough, I took a picture of an actual playhouse. Sadly, the elves were not home at the time.
