Thursday Book Report: What Came Before He Shot Her

What Came Before He Shot Her is Elizabeth George’s companion piece to With No One As Witness. The murder at the end of the latter is explored in the former. It is a heartbreaking story of a family broken by the world.

I keep writing and erasing more thoughts because the book opens fascinating possibilities that I can’t discuss without potentially spoiling the read. Suffice it to say that my little brain is tickled.

I only have one more Elizabeth George novel left and two books of short stories. I hope she writes a new one soon or I will be simply bereft.
