Australia Day 23: In which there is petting

Note to self: I am not a teenager anymore. Therefore, when presented with a high-energy model, it is foolish to attempt to keep up.

I went to the gym with Syd. At the gym, it was all fine because the cardio machines hold still and do not demonstrate that one is being left in the figurative dust. However, the walk there and back made me feel very very old and feeble, relatively speaking. Self-knowledge is salutary, I’m sure.

We went to the zoo because Syd wanted to see the critters. Here are some typical Australians. Koala:



I got to pet a smaller kangaroo in the walkabout part, which I’d never done before. I can’t take photos and pet at the same time, so you will have to imagine me and a little kangaroo/wallaby thing bonding.
