Item one: nap

I’m really trying to stick to this short to-do list plan. This seems to be one of the days that will put my resolution to the test.

I am crabby. Nothing horrible is happening, just a pile-up of small irritations, like a big fat blister on my left heel, a truck parked across the driveway, the existence of my hair. If I were to do what seems most appropriate, I would go back to bed.

What is wrong with going back to bed?

Hmm… Tough question. Nothing is wrong with it. It’s a perfectly valid use of time and resources and it will probably make the things I do after my nap much more effective.

I feel better already.
