Lent Day 31

All these words came from the first section of today's Chronicle. My point was to explore how I choose to view things, from a good perspective or a threatening one. In the bottom corner, I noted that the forecast for the day is sunny. It brought to mind the phrase "the weather of the heart," which sounded familiar. That's because it's the title of a book of poems by Madeleine L'Engle. I don't love her poems like I do her prose, possibly because she relies so heavily on technique, but the particular phrase weather of the heart is evocative. May all our hearts' weather be sunny today.
